What Can Emerging Induced Proximity Modalities Learn from TPD’s Journey to Accelerate Their Development
Time: 9:05 am
day: Workshop A
Details:
Targeted protein degradation (TPD) has been the most advanced induced proximity modality for the last decade. As the first and most advanced modality, TPD’s journey from an academic idea to proof-of-concept to the clinic has many valuable learnings for other emerging modalities in the induced proximity field. This workshop will seek to leverage the experience and knowledge gained from advances within TPD to help solve common challenges that newer modalities, such as stabilization, phosphorylation, etc. are currently facing.
This workshop will navigate:
- Utilising strategies used by TPD for common problems to speed up the pipelines of emerging modalities
- Leveraging the experience of experts and pharmaceutical companies to fully realise the niche of newer modalities
- Insights on how large pharmaceutical companies approach investing in the induced proximity space
